Main differences between the first Spanish and
French Constitution.
- The Spanish Constitution recognised the Catholich religion as the official of the Spanish State and also the ownership of all the properties of the Church.
- The Spanish Constitution approved the universal male suffrage and the French a censitary male suffrage.
- The Spanish Constitution established that the legislative power was shared between the King and the Cortes, meanwhile the French gave all the legislative power to the Parliament.
